INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR PHASE
The academic programme and subjects offered at Glenmore Primary School comply with the Curriculum Assessment Policy as stipulated by the Department of Basic Education.

The medium of instruction is English. Learners choose IsiZulu or Afrikaans as the First Additional Language. Swimming is taught in the first and fourth term during PE lessons by a specialist teacher and assessed accordingly. A dedicated Art room allows our children to express their artistic ability.
Music is taught by a specialist music teacher in a fully equipped music room. The school band showcases their talent at special events. Weekly IT lessons and introduction to robotics help learners to embrace technology and provide skills in preparation for the fourth industrial revolution.

Remedial teaching provides support to learners who experience barriers to learning and additional tuition is offered to learners in the extra and co-curricular programme. Learners participate in external English and Mathematics examinations, Literacy, Spelling B, Speech and Drama and General Knowledge competitions. The school offers a wide range of extra and co-curricular activities.
